Islands & Resorts

Guest WiFi for Island Resorts & Tourism Destinations

For resorts, guesthouses and dive lodges where bandwidth to the island is costly and there is no network engineer on site - fair sharing per guest, voucher and room login, and fixes done remotely.

The island problem

On an island, every megabit arrives by submarine cable, microwave or satellite, and it is paid for. A resort that shares it first-come, first-served ends up with one villa streaming and the rest of the guests complaining - and when the login page stops working at 11pm, the nearest network engineer is a boat ride away.

iberry manages the WiFi from the cloud. Each guest gets their own login - a room and surname checked against the PMS, a voucher, or a code - with their own speed and data allowance, so the line is shared by rule. The resort's MikroTik, Omada or UniFi equipment is monitored and changed remotely, and a fault is usually fixed without anyone travelling.

What resorts use

🏝️

Login per villa or room

By room number and surname against your PMS where it can be reached, or a voucher per room, with a device limit so one room cannot share its access with the whole island.

🛰️

Satellite and Starlink-friendly

Speed and data caps per guest that suit an expensive or variable uplink, and a second line used automatically as a backup.

🚤

Day visitors and excursions

Short-validity vouchers for day guests, divers and restaurant visitors, separate from in-house guests.

📋

Records

Every session recorded per guest and device, available to the resort when someone asks.

Frequently asked questions

Can you manage a resort's WiFi from another country?

Yes. The resort's router or controller connects to the iberry cloud, and configuration, monitoring and changes are done remotely. A local electrician or IT partner fits the cabling and access points to our plan; on-site work by iberry engineers is offered in India only.

Does it work over satellite or Starlink?

Yes. The login and records run in the cloud, so any working internet line will do, and per-guest caps are what make an expensive or variable satellite line go further.

Can guests log in with their room number?

Where your PMS can be reached, guests log in with room number and surname and access ends at checkout. Otherwise vouchers per room do the same job. See PMS-integrated WiFi.

What does it cost?

Published plans in India start at ₹30,000 one-time with ₹15,000 yearly maintenance; properties outside India are quoted per project, because the hardware is usually bought locally.
