Hotspot businesses in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma and Mwanza; beach resorts in Zanzibar; safari lodges around Arusha and the parks. Vouchers or room logins, a fair share of a small or costly line for every guest, and records of every session - set up and run remotely.
Lodges and island resorts often run on a modest fibre, wireless or satellite link. Without per-guest limits, a few video calls or uploads leave everyone else with nothing. Each iberry login carries a speed cap and data allowance, so the line is shared fairly, and the dashboard shows who is using what.
Hotspot businesses get voucher batches per agent, packages by the hour, day or week, and sales per site - with no billing PC to maintain at each location.
Payment by M-Pesa, Airtel Money or other mobile wallets on the login page itself is not built into the platform today. What works from the first day is the way most hotspots already sell: vouchers sold for cash or mobile money by your agents, shop counter or front desk.
Public internet provision and communications equipment are regulated by the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA), and personal data by the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022. Zanzibar properties should check any additional local requirements. We set up the records to match what you are asked for; we do not give legal advice.
You send the site layout, the number of rooms or users and your internet line. We design the network and the login: vouchers, SMS OTP if an SMS route to your mobile networks is confirmed, or room-and-surname login if your PMS can be reached.
We ship the router, access points and switches from India through our shop wifishop.in, or you buy the same MikroTik, TP-Link Omada or Ubiquiti UniFi models from a local distributor. Shipping, customs duty and import taxes are quoted per order.
A local electrician or IT partner fits the cabling and access points to our plan, with us on a WhatsApp or video call.
The router connects to the iberry cloud over an encrypted tunnel. We configure the hotspot, login page and limits remotely, then monitor it and make changes for you. Support is in English, by WhatsApp, phone and email; guest session records are held in India.
Yes. Guests log in with a voucher or room details, each with a speed and data limit that protects a small line, and the network is monitored and changed remotely - useful where there is no IT person on site. See also WiFi for island resorts.
iberry is one: vouchers, limits, agent batches and records run in the cloud, with your MikroTik router on site. Hardware can be shipped from India or bought locally.
The login page can carry Swahili text; support from iberry is in English. See our Swahili page, biashara ya WiFi.
Tell us the location, the number of rooms or sites and your internet line. Outside India every project is quoted on its own: the hardware (shipped from India or bought locally), shipping and import duties, and the yearly remote management. Published India plans start at ₹30,000 one-time with ₹15,000 a year, as a guide to scale.
