Hotspot Billing & Hotel WiFi for Nigeria

Hotels, short-let apartments, estates, campuses and hotspot resellers in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan and Kano: vouchers with time, speed and data limits, many sites on one dashboard, and a record of who used the connection - run remotely on MikroTik equipment.

What matters in Nigeria

Many sites, one dashboard

Resellers and hotel groups see every location's users, sessions and voucher sales in one place, with separate batches per site and per agent.

Power

Generators and inverters switch over often. The router keeps its own login page and the cloud link reconnects by itself, so a power change does not mean a call-out.

Two lines

Automatic failover between two internet lines, so a fibre cut or a provider outage does not take the hotspot down. See internet failover.

Short-lets and estates

Vouchers per apartment or per stay, with a device limit, so a password shared on a group chat does not open the line to everyone.

Payment

Paying online on the login page is not built in today. Vouchers sold at the front desk, by agents or by bank transfer work from the first day.

Rules to check in Nigeria

Internet services and communications equipment are regulated by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), which also type-approves equipment. Personal data is covered by the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023, overseen by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Check what your business needs before launch; we set up the records to match.

How we deliver outside India

1. Plan

You send the site layout, the number of rooms or users and your internet line. We design the network and the login: vouchers, SMS OTP if an SMS route to your mobile networks is confirmed, or room-and-surname login if your PMS can be reached.

2. Hardware

We ship the router, access points and switches from India through our shop wifishop.in, or you buy the same MikroTik, TP-Link Omada or Ubiquiti UniFi models from a local distributor. Shipping, customs duty and import taxes are quoted per order.

3. Install

A local electrician or IT partner fits the cabling and access points to our plan, with us on a WhatsApp or video call.

4. Remote setup and support

The router connects to the iberry cloud over an encrypted tunnel. We configure the hotspot, login page and limits remotely, then monitor it and make changes for you. Support is in English, by WhatsApp, phone and email; guest session records are held in India.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a MikroTik router in Nigeria?

It depends on the model and the dealer. A small hotspot needs a hEX-class router; busier sites need RB4011 or RB5009 class. We can ship MikroTik hardware from India through wifishop.in with shipping and duties quoted per order, or you can buy it locally.

How do I start a WiFi hotspot business in Nigeria?

Pick a busy site, get a dependable line (two if possible), install a MikroTik router and access points with power backup, decide your voucher packages and sell them through agents. Our WiFi hotspot business guide has a one-page business plan.

Can you manage hotel WiFi in Lagos or Abuja remotely?

Yes. A local technician fits the hardware; we configure the login, limits and records and manage them remotely, with support in English.

Hotel, estate or hotspot in Nigeria?

Tell us the city, the number of rooms or sites and your internet lines. See hotspot billing across Africa. Outside India every project is quoted on its own: the hardware (shipped from India or bought locally), shipping and import duties, and the yearly remote management. Published India plans start at ₹30,000 one-time with ₹15,000 a year, as a guide to scale.
