Hotel WiFi Solution for Thailand

Hotels, resorts, hostels, serviced apartments and beach bungalows in Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Krabi, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Hua Hin: a login per room or voucher, a fair share of the line for every guest, a record of every session, and the network watched remotely by iberry.

What we set up

🏨

Hotels and resorts

Room and surname login through the PMS, or QR vouchers per stay, ending at checkout.

🛏️

Hostels

A voucher per bed with a device limit and speed cap, so a full dorm still has usable WiFi.

🏢

Serviced apartments

Monthly logins per unit with their own limits, and separate staff and office networks.

🍽️

Restaurants and beach bars

Time-limited customer WiFi and Google review buttons after login.

Thai and English login page

Rules to check in Thailand

Thailand's Computer-related Crime Act expects service providers, including businesses that offer internet access to the public, to keep computer traffic data for a set period (commonly cited as at least 90 days); personal data falls under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019); telecommunications and radio equipment are regulated by the NBTC. iberry keeps session records per login - check with your adviser what you must keep and where, since our records are held in India.

How we deliver outside India

1. Plan

You send the site layout, the number of rooms or users and your internet line. We design the network and the login: vouchers, SMS OTP if an SMS route to your mobile networks is confirmed, or room-and-surname login if your PMS can be reached.

2. Hardware

We arrange the MikroTik router and access points through a local vendor in your country, so there is no import and no customs delay. If a model is not available locally we ship it from India through our shop wifishop.in; only then do customs duty and import taxes apply, quoted per order.

3. Install

A local electrician or IT partner fits the cabling and access points to our plan, with us on a WhatsApp or video call.

4. Remote setup and support

The router connects to the iberry cloud over an encrypted tunnel. We configure the hotspot, login page and limits remotely, then monitor it and make changes for you. Support is in English, by WhatsApp, phone and email; guest session records are held in India.

Frequently asked questions

Do hotels in Thailand need to keep WiFi logs?

Businesses giving internet access to the public are generally expected to keep traffic data under the Computer-related Crime Act, commonly for at least 90 days. Check the exact duty for your property with your adviser; iberry records who logged in, from which device, when and how much.

Can hostels in Thailand use voucher WiFi?

Yes: a voucher per bed or per booking with a device limit and speed cap is the usual fix for slow, overcrowded hostel WiFi.

Where do we buy MikroTik in Thailand?

From Thai distributors and resellers. For an iberry project we usually arrange the hardware through a local vendor and configure it remotely; we ship from India through wifishop.in only when a model is not available locally.

Hotel or hostel in Thailand?

Tell us the town, the number of rooms or beds and your internet lines. See also hotel WiFi in Southeast Asia. Outside India every project is quoted on its own: the hardware (usually supplied through a local vendor in your country, so there is no import) and the yearly remote management. Published India plans start at ₹30,000 one-time with ₹15,000 a year, as a guide to scale.
