WiFi Voucher System: Coupon Codes for Guest WiFi

A WiFi voucher is a short code that opens the internet for a set time or amount of data. Hotels give them to walk-in visitors and banquet guests, cafes print them on the bill, and hotspot operators sell them. iberry's login system creates, prints and tracks vouchers for you.

How a voucher works

The visitor joins the WiFi, the login page opens, they type the voucher code and they are online. The code carries its own rules - how long it lasts, how much data it allows and how fast it may go - and stops working when the limit is reached. Because every code is unique, you can see which voucher was used, when and by which device.

What you can set on each voucher

Validity

Hours or days from first use - for example 2 hours for a cafe, 1 day for a visitor, 3 days for an event.

Data limit

A quota in MB or GB, useful for paid hotspots and for stopping heavy downloads.

Speed

A per-voucher speed limit so one user cannot use the whole line.

Devices

One device per code, or more for families and groups.

Creating and handing out vouchers

Vouchers are generated in batches from the iberry panel and printed as coupon sheets (PDF) to cut and hand out, or sent to a guest's mobile. Front-desk staff can issue a single voucher in a few taps from the panel or the iberry mobile app. Prepaid walk-in coupons and data plans are included in every iberry plan.

Vouchers alongside other logins

Most hotels use vouchers next to room-number login for in-house guests (PMS integration) and mobile OTP login for everyone else (WiFi OTP login). For paid public hotspots, vouchers can be combined with online payment - see hotspot billing software and starting a WiFi hotspot business.

Can vouchers be printed?

Yes - as a PDF coupon sheet ready to cut and hand out, or a single voucher can be issued to a guest from the panel or app.

Do vouchers work with MikroTik?
